CreepIE Con is bringing Horror to the Inland Empire February 5 & 6

It’s a new year, so it is time to plan for new conventions. SoCal’s first horror convention of 2022 is CreepIE Con. It will happen February 5th and 6th at the Ontario Convention Center!

CreepIE Con is a brand new Horror Experience that promises a weekend filled with celebrities, hundreds of pop-culture exhibitors, and other experiences.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet horror stars. Special guests include Nick Castle (Michael Myers), Miko Hughes (Gage from Pet Sematary), Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie from Rob Zombie’s Halloween), a special Killer Klowns From Outer Space reunion, and more.

Their website advertises other experiences such as Art’s Sideshow, an Autograph Alley, a Ghostbusters-inspired experience, Horror Speed Dating, Vintage Gaming, and more.

Although this will be its first year and we don’t know what to expect, we know that the Ontario Convention Center is the perfect place for a new convention. The convention center is smaller than its neighbors in Los Angeles. However, it has plenty of exhibit space, parking, and panel rooms. CreepIE Con Covid-19 safety information

CreepIE Con stated on their website that they will adhere to and follow all of the state of California’s required mandates that are in place for February 5th and 6th, 2022. This may include mandatory mask-wearing, negative covid test, and/or proof of vaccination. Also, they stated that they would provide updated information soon. Currently, in California, guests attending indoor events must either show results of a negative COVID-19 test or verify they’ve been vaccinated. Businesses and venue operators may require proof or self-attestation at the point of registration, during ticket purchase, or on the day of the event prior to entry into the venue.

Things may change due to the recent holiday case surges. It is ultimately up to attendees to pay attention to changes in policies. We recommend making sure that you keep up with CreepIE Con’s social media pages and check their website regularly for any changes. Be prepared to wear a mask indoors, and if you are not vaccinated, be prepared to have proof of a negative covid test. Remember that CreepIECon may have its own specific requirements for what constitutes an acceptable negative covid test.
