Exandria Unlimited, a new show from the minds at Critical Role

Hey Critters – get hype!  It’s been one week since we said our tearful goodbye to the Mighty Nein and while we still recover, it’s time to delve deeper into the land of Exandria.  Today, June 10th, Critical Role is announcing a new show to add to their roster, that explores beyond what we’ve seen so far and gives the opportunity for new tales to be weaved.

Exandria Unlimited is the next adventure, that further examines the world of Critical Role.  The eight-episode campaign begins in Emon, a city still recovering from the scars of the Chroma Conclave attack nearly 30 years later; following new, fresh-faced adventurers!  Check out State of the Role: Revealing our Super Top Secret Project here for Critical Role’s official announcement!

This brand new adventure takes place 30 years after Critical Role’s first campaign, Vox Machina, and 10 years after Critical Role’s second campaign, the Mighty Nein.  The stories that unfold within Exandira Unlimited are considered to be canon and will affect future environments or timelines across Critical Role!

New and Old Faces

The series stars; veteran voice actors Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor, Blindspot) and Robbie Daymond (Marvel’s Spider-Man, Sailor Moon) along with Critical Role founders and veteran voice actors Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Infinity Train, The Avengers), Liam O’Brien (Spider-Man, Star Wars: Rebels, The Last of Us Part II) and Matthew Mercer (Overwatch, League of Legends, Resident Evil: Damnation), led by Game Master Aabria Iyengar (Happy Jacks RPG, Dimension 20, Saving Throw).  You can meet the players here introducing some old friends and some new faces!

Where and When to Tune In!

Exandria Unlimited will start on June 24th (in just a few weeks!) and will air Thursday evenings at 7pm Pacific on Critical Role’s Twitch (twitch.tv/criticalrole) and YouTube channels (youtube.com/criticalrole).  VOD is available immediately for Twitch channel subscribers and will be available on Critical Role’s YouTube channel at noon Pacific the following Monday.  Exandria Unlimited will also be available in a podcast format one week after its initial airing on the Critical Role podcast feed, which is available via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts.

The series leaves room to invite more people to play at the table while growing Critical Role’s lore.  Anything can happen and that’s exciting!  The events that take place in Exandria Unlimited could send ripples (or waves) straight into campaign three.  I can’t wait to see what inevitable trouble this brand new ragtag group of adventurers get themselves into.
