Posted by Disney made several thousand fans lose their collective s%$# one Wednesday when they released the teaser trailer of Frozen II. This is the follow-up to the 2013 Disney masterpiece Frozen. There is a lot to unpack from this teaser, so let’s start by watching the teaser.
The clip opens with Elsa on a beach during a storm. She is using her powers to attempt to climb waves that are crashing in. Is she testing her abilities or is she trying to escape? We then see Anna looking at what appears to be crystal floating in front of the castle. The Crystals appear to have little symbols on them. Were they created by Elsa or something else?
We then see Kristoff riding on Sven with a herd of moose (meese?) following as if he was chasing someone. Anna is then seen jumping on stones to try to escape something. Elsa and Olaf are surrounded by a mysterious cloud as she cast spells to keep it at bay.
There is a cut to a little red head girl who sees a blond boy get blasted out of a bed of leaves. Finally, the teaser shows us a group shot of our heroes, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf, as they stare off into a wooded land. The title appears with Anna swiping a sword at the screen.
HOLY CRAP!! This is amazing. The animation looks great and Disney is doing a great job at keeping us in the dark as we have no idea what the hell is going on.
