GHOSTWIRE: TOKYO Gameplay and Review

This game is interesting and so I would rate Ghostwire: Tokyo 4.5 out of 5. For me personally, it’s a lot of stuff you have to sit through before we actually get into doing much of anything. I tend to like games that get to the action a bit faster. I need that so that I can be excited about being the character and start to care about their story.

Personally found it a bit hard to develop any kind of emotion for characters early on in the game. It just doesn’t really do it for me because I haven’t spent any time really being them. So that’s the only criticism that I would make.

However, it is beautiful. The graphics are amazing. The cast cut scenes are amazing. The realism of the characters in terms of them looking sort of on the ordinary side is pretty amazing. I sort of knocked down a few points for the main bad guy wearing a mask. Because it’s really hard for the face to emote. Once again to make that connection with the characters. That is kind of difficult. I did like that his little Oni people that he spawned, one of them look like it was a female mask. So that’s interesting, to have goons that are perhaps different genders.

Again, I would rate this game a 4.5 out of 5. It’s going to be a lot of people’s cup of tea, but maybe not mine. I don’t really enjoy super narrative-heavy starts to a game. However, it’s stunning looking and it’s really pretty.  And so I might give it another chance later on.
