Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Episode 9 “Vox” Review
We finally know jack about Jack! You can also stream and watch the podcast to the previous episode “Surrender” here. Before you read on and listen to or watch the podcast, make sure to watch the episode first because this podcast features HEAVY SPOILERS!
Throughout the third and final season of Picard, the cause and origin behind Jack Crusher’s visions and abilities have remained a mystery. Picking up where the last episode ended, Counselor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) is the only one who could facilitate the meaning behind Jack’s visions. This results in the startling discovery that an old nemesis of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard and The Federation have come back, and this time, it’s generational. That’s right–Jack Crusher is Borg. Dealing with this news surely has impacted the crew of The Next Generation, and the ones close to them. All those onboard the U.S.S. Titan have become desperate to fight back and resist, but as fans know, resistance is futile. Those efforts, however, do not come without sacrifice.
In the podcast, we also discuss one of the most emotional and surprising scenes throughout the season. It’s an epic end to the episode with another huge reveal that will surely have fans talking for generations to come.
