The Resort is a multi-generational, coming-of-age love story disguised as a fast-paced mystery about the disappointment of time. The series takes place around the events of an anniversary trip.

Noah (William Jackson Harper) and Emma (Cristin Miliotu) are on vacation in the Mayan Riviera celebrating their 10th anniversary. Their marriage is in a rough spot where Noah has been fairly complacent and happy with life, but unfortunately, Emma feels like their marriage and life aren’t where she’d want it to be. The trip puts a marriage to the test when the pair finds themselves embroiled in one of the Yucatan’s most bizarre unsolved mysteries. A mystery that took place fifteen years prior.
