Kevin Smith announced to all of his followers on social media this morning, that he just got out of surgery after suffering a severe heart attack! Smith had just finished his first show when he started to feel nauseous and was taken to the hospital. It was there he discovered that he had a 100% blockage in the “Widow Maker” artery and had to go into surgery to have a stint installed.
Smith, who is just 47, is known for some of geek culture’s greatest films like Clerks and Mallrats. Smith states that he is doing well in recovery and says he needs to make some changes to his life. Friends and fans all over the web are sending their love to the filmmaker. I even sent my message to the man himself.
