Lex Lang Interview at Anime Las Vegas

Anime Las Vegas took over the Expo at World Market Center during the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd. This was the first annual Anime Las Vegas, and it gave anime fans the opportunity to meet an impressive list of voice actors across different shows and video games. Among the guests in attendance this year was voice actor Lex Lang. We interviewed Lex Lang and spoke with him about his voice acting experiences.

Interview with Lex Lang

Lex Lang is known for voicing Suguru Geto (Jujutsu Kaisen), Marechiyo Ōmaeda (Bleach), Teuichi, Shikaku Nara, and Hayate Gekko (Naruto). We spoke with Lex Lang about the widely anticipated second season of Jujutsu Kaisen and his character, Suguru Geto.

We asked Lex to tell us a little about Suguru Geto. He said:

[Geto] is a pretty cool character actually. He’s a very high level sorcerer, and of course his beginnings are that he was a part of Jujutsu High and a dear friend with Gojo. Several things happened during his life that changed his ideology severely. He went from wanting to protect humans, or non-sorcerers, to really considering them worse than animals, […] he calls them monkeys. That is something that’s really cool about the development of his character over time.

Lex is also know for voicing multiple characters in Naruto. When asked which character he connects to the most, he said:

I would probably have to say Teuchi because he’s a pretty chilled out dude, and you never know what power he has behind the chilled out-ness…I kind of consider myself that way.
