Anti-racism starts at home. As parents, we should be introducing our children to a wide variety of literature. Reading books that are written by Black authors is a great way to show them how to appreciate one another’s differences. Having diverse characters to connect with works wonders for social development. Children need to be taught that there are cultures and families that are different and beautiful.
