To do this, they are offering perks to their listeners who donate to the fund.

“Many of our podcasts rely on our local comic book shops for collecting new and back issues that help us create content for our listeners. Growing up and visiting the comic book shop was a highlight for all of us and we cannot imagine people not having access to a local shop,” says X-Reads co-creator Chandler Poling.
Some of the perks that listeners will enjoy for donating to the fund include social media shout outs, name call-outs on the podcast recordings, digital X-Men art from artists such as Rich Bernatovech, and the opportunity to appear as a guest on a podcast.
