Lopez vs Lopez is a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection, and all the pain and joy in between. The cast includes George Lopez, Mayan Lopez, Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez, Matt Shively, and Laci Mosley. Latinx stars Harvey Guillén, Chelsea Rendon, Jessica Marie Garcia, and Jacob Vargas will appear in episode 116, which will air on March 17th.
Harvey Guillén guest stars as Mayan’s pseudo-intellectual cousin, Miguel. Miguel spends his time working on his doctorate in Chicano studies and bragging about his TED talk on the cultural significance of the Hot Cheeto. Jessica Marie Garcia joins the cast as ”Yesika” or @Hellyesika on all her socials, is Mayan’s fabulous Tik Tok-dancing social media influencer cousin who does everything for “the Gram” including giving Mayan a taste of the glamorous life. And Chelsea Rendon plays Luna. Mayan’s free-spirited cousin travels the world in a camper and loves the #vanlife.
