In celebration of their South by Southwest (SXSW) debut, Loungefly has announced three new collections. On display at the Loungefly booth (#1235) from March 12-15, the nostalgic throwback collections feature Jurassic Park’s 30th Anniversary, the hit ’80s series Popples and Strawberry Shortcake!
Loungefly heads to SXSW
Loungefly announced plans to celebrate its official debut at SXSW with an immersive fan experience (Booth #1419) from March 12-15, 2023. The leading collectible fashion company will also host a celebrity panel with Christy Carlson Romano (Kim Possible, Even Stevens), a happy hour event, and a product showcase for SXSW badge holders.
Immersive Fan Experience (Booth #1235; March 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT) – A walkthrough, photo-worthy experience inspired by Loungefly’s newest sensory accessories, including a feel-good room of plush, the flavorful scent of delicious treats, and a must-see glow-in-the-dark space.
SXSW x Loungefly Happy Hour (In front of Booth #1235; March 13 from 3-4 p.m. CT) –Fans are invited to visit the booth for a Happy Hour featuring Loungefly’s creative visionaries as they discuss the newest and most sought-after collectible accessories.
Celebrity Panel (Austin Convention Center, The Next Stage; March 14 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. CT) – Moderated by StyleCaster Entertainment Editor Sophie Hanson, the brand will host Liz DeSilva, Loungefly’s Senior Vice President of Creative, and actress Christy Carlson Romano for an intimate discussion about innovative fashion trends, fandom, pop culture and finding purpose through passion.
JURASSIC PARK 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Life Finds A Way Cross Body Bag – Journey to a land frozen in time with a retro “baguette” design that features a vibrant yellow and green gradient. Slashes of red stripes are debossed to add texture and the Jurassic Park logo appears on the front. Up above, a coin purse accompanies the adjustable fabric strap which displays an iconic quote from the film.

Cosplay Plush Mini Backpack ($80.00 MSRP) – The Mini Backpack brings a

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

will find Strawberry Shortcake and her pet, Custard. The strawberry house,
which features applique and debossed detail, rises up over the top of the
wallet. On the back, Custard makes an encore appearance, along with a bright
red strawberry. Inside, fans will find four card slots and one clear slot for
displaying an ID. A die-cut shape of a strawberry adds a charming touch.
Strawberry House Figural Crossbody Bag – The bag is shaped
like Strawberry Shortcake’s house with the top of the front door opening with
a magnetic snap to reveal Strawberry Shortcake with her pet cat, Custard. The
applique leaves at the top add a whimsical touch and a charming window
appears on the back. When the bag opens, there’s an interior drop pocket. The
aroma of strawberries will follow.
