The world is celebrating the 25-year anniversary release of “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” and Fanexpo Toronto was no exception. All four of the hobbits made an appearance (despite having their names advertised on the website for their other projects. Hilariously, Elijah Wood was listed as being from “Happy Feet 2”, despite also being the main character in the first one.

The hobbits held panels, photoshoots, and we even had Elijah Wood return to his DJ days who performed at Anime North years ago alongside Canadian band Prozaak. But Lord of the Rings fans had a special treat at the EBAY booth on Sunday.
Fans who were at the booth on Sunday were allowed to test their Lord of the Rings knowledge for the prize of signed autographs by Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan. These questions were from both the book and the movie. Some questions were more difficult than others, but many fans were able to answer the questions with ease.

One question, however, had the whole crowd stumped. Fans reading this article who know the answer might shake their heads, while others might learn a delightful new fact.
“Merry wrote a book after the war of the ring, what was it about?”
Dom and Billy eagerly searched through the crowd hoping someone knew the answer. “Longbottom Leaf!” someone attempted to answer.
“Close Close!” Dom responded.
Still there was no answer from the crowd before the hobbits had to tell everyone…
The Answer?
The book was a detailed guide to the history of Pipe Weed.
Some fans groaned, as the answer was at the tip of their tongue. As some people well know, sometimes the pressures of Trivia stops the brain from allowing it to answer.
