Scott Pilgrim EX
Scott Pilgrim EX is an unofficial sequel to Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and also has a prequel mini comic, Scott Pilgrim EX: Dawn of Metal Scott. Play as Scott, Ramona, and other evil exes as you pursue the forces behind the abduction of Pilgrim’s bandmates. But they aren’t abducted by just anyone. They are abducted by the one and only, Metal Scott. The game takes place in the streets of Toronto, year 20XX, and features three new enemy factions that transcend both space and time. This game still features the “beat’em up” style of the past two games but also encourages exploration. Players can roam Toronto checking out shops, buying and finding items and upgrades, and even meet some beloved characters from the world of Scott Pilgrim.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered
Return to Nosgoth, where you play as either Kain or Raziel, his betrayed lieutenant. Each protagonist has unique abilities and fighting styles as well as their own interpretation of the story. This remastered version offers new HD graphics, more refined controls, and a gamer camera that can toggle between HD graphics and the original look of the game. New to the remaster is alternate character skins, a lore reader, unreleased content and previous “lost levels” as well as a photo mode.

Marathon
Bungie’s revival of their first game, Marathon, is almost here. However, for those who have played Classic Marathon, the stakes have changed. This iteration of Marathon is full of the incredible lore but is brought to players in an extraction shooter package. Fully modernized, Tau Ceti is as beautiful as it is deadly. Marathon’s art style has been described as “graphic realism” and personally what drew me in from the moment this project was announced. Players were invited to step into this technicolor killing field with a server slam, running February 26 to March 2. Bungie made the beta of Marathon free to play for all, allowing those on the fence to give the game a try and letting fans have some early fun prior to the full release. Solo or with friends, dive into the story-rich world of Tau Ceti and escape or die trying.

Pokémon Pokopia
Pokopia is the latest game coming to the world of Pokémon. But instead of choosing a starter and traveling the world, collecting badges and friendly battle buddies, Pokopia tries something different. This cozy life-sim finds an island in disarray with a lone Pokémon as its only inhabitant. But not for long. A wily Ditto joins the fray and endeavors to build this island back up into its former glory. Collecting, crafting, farming, decorating and more await players. This adorable title with its cute art style is sure to bring hours of entertainment to fans of both Pokémon and this genre of gaming.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf
Jump back into the world of Planet of Lana with this direct sequel. This time players will experience an older Lana alongside her beloved companion, Mui. Their world, Novo, is in danger from technology and the Djinghala hellbent on exploiting the planet’s resources. In the process, Lana and Mui will discover ancient secrets about the home they love. Players familiar with the first game can expect stunning visuals and the puzzle-platform mechanics showcased in the prior title.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando
If 80s inspired horror, over-the-top humor, action, and first person shooters are your thing, you’re going to want to check out Toxic Commando. Set in the future where a science experiment gone bad results in the release of the Sludge God. This entity is set on terraforming the lands around it, turning the ground into unlivable scum and the living beings into undead nightmares. Solo or with a team of up to four total players, take on the Sludge God and his minions to save the day.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Twisted Reflection is the third game in the Monster Hunter Stories series. This story follows the fate of two countries, Azuria and Vermeil. Both are hurtling towards destruction when hope is found in the shape of egg. More specifically, a Rathalos egg, a species thought to be extinct. The plot thickens as the egg hatches and its revealed that it’s not one Rathalos, but two. They bear the mark of Skyscale, a call back over 200 years ago to a horrific civil war. The player, astride their beloved Rathalos set out on the search for truth, buffeted by the winds of fate.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake
Fans of this franchise can expect a complete remake with this title’s releasee. Brand new graphics, sounds, gameplay systems, controls, and more. This installment features twin sisters left to wander an abandoned village filled with wraiths and armed with the Camera Obscura. To fight they must capture said wraiths through photography. One new feature is that ability to handhold with your twin sister as you play, deepening the bond as the story proceeds. Pre-order bonuses for this game include a wraith charm, two hair ornaments, and two kimonos. A secondary pre-order bonus offers cat ears, crimson butterfly outfits, and a spirit charm. With 400 plus Superstars and Legends to choose from in this latest wrestling installment, players can expect hours of playing and perfecting their playstyle. And for CM Punk fans, there’s a showcase that focuses on a narrative surrounding his return to WWE. Inferno, Dumpster, and 3 Stages of Hell matches provide expansive gaming opportunities. “The Island” social mode is also getting new content alongside a retooling of the stamina and reversal mechanics. And if the release date is just a little too far away, the Monday Night War Edition gives a full 7-day early access.

MLB the Show 26
The 2026 iteration of this beloved series is hoping to deliver the best gaming experience yet. Early details released talk of reworking pitch effects and bat ball physics. Other upgrades include more control over swing placement while batting, more natural cut off throws, and control in pitching during critical situations. This game will feature 19 expanded college teams, expanding the amateur phase, including officially licensed NCAA Men’s College World Series. There will also be a focus on Hall of Fame legacy-building and a deeper franchise system. A brand new trade experience is also being introduced. Whether a longtime fan or new to the franchise, MLB the Show 26 is not to be missed if you’re a baseball enthusiast.

Super Mario Bros Wonder: Switch 2 Edition
This incredible side-scroller is getting its own Switch 2 edition. Play as Super Mario attempts to save the Flower Kingdom from Bowser and Bowser JR and seven Koopalings. This adventure can be played solo, with up to 4 players on the same screen (locally), or up to 12 total players when in online or local wireless games. This edition also features Bellabel Park, a brand-new area within the Flower Kingdom. Battle all seven of the aforementioned Koopalings in new boss courses and do so with previously unavailable playable characters. This includes favorites such as Rosaline and Co-Star Luma. Due to the upscaling for Switch 2, this game can be enjoyed in up to 4K resolution when docked to a compatible TV as well.

Project Songbird
For fans of horror, Project Songbird is singing for your attention. This beautiful first-person shooter is a narrative driven horror experience set in the Appalachian forest. Play as Dakota, a musician, who has travelled to a remote cabin with the goals of recording his next album. As one can guess, this trip doesn’t end up being a tranquil jaunt to banish writer’s block. Instead, he finds out that the he was never really alone out there. This game features incredible scenery as backdrop to this haunting story alongside upgradeable combat, and for the most hardcore of players – a permadeath setting.

Life is Strange: Reunion
Jump in as Max and Chloe in this brand-new story set to be the titular characters finale. A fire threatens Caledon University and there is only three days to stop this calamity. Even with Max’s ability to turn back time, it is not enough to stop these events from unfolding. Players must figure out the who, what, when, where and why in the hopes of saving the day and their friends at Celedon University. But be ready. Every action has a consequence. This title boasts both a digital and physical edition, including a stunning collector’s edition for PlayStation and Xbox Series X. For those who tend to buy digital, the digital deluxe edition comes with the game alongside a digital mini soundtrack, art book, comic, and a behind the scenes documentary.
