Monthly Games Guide: November 2025

Holiday months are upon us and what’s a better gift then a foray into a new world? Or, conversely, what’s a better way to avoid the holiday madness by staying in and diving into new stories? Let’s talk about the perfect gift or escape that are games releasing in November.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Starting off the month is a Switch 2 exclusive and the continuation of a beloved franchise. Hyrule Warriors dives deeper into King Ganondorf and his activities captured momentarily in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players can expect beautiful graphics much like Tears of the Kingdom with intriguing characters and exciting battles as they seek to understand the Imprisoning War.

Lumines Arise

Lumines Arise may be your next game if you happen to be a puzzle enthusiast. This game combines addictive, fast-paced game play with ear-catching audio and gorgeous visuals to keep players intrigued and challenged. With over 30 stages and the option to play solo or multiplayer, Lumines Arise has plenty to look forward to as a casual puzzle-enjoyer or a seasoned veteran looking for a tough challenge.

Winter Burrow

Winter Burrow is the perfect game to curl up with alongside a cup of tea or coffee, whatever your preference. You play as an adorably animated mouse working to rebuild your childhood burrow after moving back home from life in the big city. What’s more is your aunt, who was supposed to be keeping watch over your home, has gone missing. You’ll find yourself braving the cold to gather resources to survive both the cold and the task of rebuilding your home while figuring out what happened to your beloved aunt.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7

Black Ops 7 is the 22nd game within the Call of Duty series and the eighth title in the Black Ops sub-series. Fans of the franchise will find themselves in the near future, 2035, in a tumultuous world of conflict set in Avalon. The campaign becomes both a fight against the powers-that-be as well as the main character’s own psychological traumas. For those who aren’t interested in the campaign, that can be played solo or co-op, Black Ops 7 offers multiplayer as well as zombie game modes.

Where Winds Meet

Set in 10th-century China, players take on the role of an inexperienced sword master looking to grow both as a sword master as well as within their own individual identity. The quintessential extraction shooter is finally coming to Steam this November. Long-time fans can expect the multi-player first-person tactical extraction shooter they’ve grown to love, set in the fictional world of Norvinsk, to be the same incredible experience they’re fond of. However, with it coming to Steam alongside its reputation and the release of another brand-new extraction shooter, ARC Raiders, this may bring new fans into the rich world in northwestern Russia.

Space Marine 2 – Ultima Edition (Physical)

Warhammer collectors can rejoice as the Space Marine 2 – Ultima Edition, a physical edition complete with the game, a gorgeous steelbook, exclusive artwork, and access to both season pass 1 and 2 as well as the Macragge’s Chosen DLC, is finally releasing for PlayStation and Xbox. Space Marine 2 is an incredible adventure with a strong campaign and tons of post-campaign content for both PvE and PvP players. Demonschool

Spooky season may have wrapped up, but strong horror narratives can be enjoyed year-round. Demonschool offers a fantastic horror story within the RPG genre. Play as Faye alongside her band of merry misfits as they navigate life on a mysterious island while attending university. One intriguing feature is the ability to rewind actions, allowing players to fix mistakes and be better prepared as they battle their way through both the human and demon world.

Kirby Air Riders

Set in the Kirby universe, players can pick a beloved character called a “rider”, choose their faithful machine, and be ready to take on other riders in online or local multiplayer. If racing others isn’t your thing, players can also enjoy the game solo as well as in a single-player story mode. Available for the weekends of November 8-9 and 15-16, prior to the game’ release, is a free demo for those who are curious or simply can’t wait for the game’s release.

Hades 2 (Physical)

Hades 2 was well-received when released on Switch and Switch 2 in September 2025. New and old fans alike can now go down to their favorite game store of choice and grab the physical edition. This edition comes with a cartridge that is compatible for both consoles as well as a full-color character compendium, a code to download the incredible soundtrack, and a reversible cover.

Gris & Neva Collector’s Edition (Physical)
