Nerdbot-Con is right around the corner, and we are getting ready to attend! Cameras are ready and so are our cosplaya and spirits! Hopefully you are ready too as we hope to see you there! As with every con, one wants to know what is exactly going on? Who will be there? What will take place? All these will be answered for you, so we’re glad we can help you prep!
Guest List
For the convention only being one day, there are a number of guests to look out for! Whether you are into science fiction, WWE Wrestling, voice acting, or anything else, there may be something for everyone! To name a few, we have Tracy Lynn Cruz from Power Rangers, Director Bryan Newton from Rick & Morty, and Suzie Plakson from from Star Trek: The Next Generation! Many geeky things await for the hardcore fanbases! For more on the Guest list, click on the link here!
Artist Gallery/Events
Over 130 Vendors will be featured on the main floor! These can range from artists to independent comic book stores, video games, Kickstarter comic books, cosplay and clothing, and much more! Unfortunately, there is not a specific list on who will be there, based on the website and social media. While it would fun to know, it could be a great surprise! So who knows! Go exploring and see what you like! And don’t forget to bring that wallet of yours!
Panels
Along with the guest list, the panels greatly focus on the real geeky stuff! Want to know more about voice acting? A “Show Your Voice” Panel will be there! Enjoy the debate between Star Wars and Star Trek? there is a panel for that too! Fan of TMNT growing up? They will have that too! So much to do in one day, so make sure you plan ahead on what it is you want to see! Check out the schedule here!
Cosplay
Of course, cosplay is always to be expected at panels, but one should also be aware of group photo shoots! There is to be a Marvel/DC photoshoot, Zombie Shoot out, Cosplay contests, and even panels about cosplay for children and charitable work! So don’t be shy if it’s your first time! Stand out and be proud of what you have created and invested in! And as always, cosplay does NOT ALWAYS mean consent! So if there is a cosplayer that is of your favorite movie or series ask first, and if you are given a yes, be gentle and respectful! And another side note, do not forget to CHECK THE WEAPONS POLICY before bringing any props of any kind! To quote Ra’s al Ghul from Batman Begins (2005), always mind your surroundings! To know more about the Nerdbot-Con’s policy, click here!
General Admission tickets are still available on the website link here! So if you are still debating on going, just know that the tickets are affordable for the price of $18, plus tax! We hope to see you there!
