Disney+ has released a new trailer for Loki its upcoming series from Marvel Studios. The latest trailer gives us a better idea of what the show will be about. Tom Hiddlestone will reprise his role as Loki—the imperious God of Mischief— from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the trailer, Loki speaks at length with Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, about the consequences of having stolen the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame. The bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) is dedicated to preserving the timeline and they need Loki to fix the mistakes he caused by stealing the tesseract. (sounds a little like the plot of Umbrella Academy). The all-new, original series debuts exclusively on Disney+ on June 11, 2021.
Also joining the cast of Loki are Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
