In the trailer, Loki speaks at length with Mobius M. Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, about the consequences of having stolen the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame. The bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) is dedicated to preserving the timeline and they need Loki to fix the mistakes he caused by stealing the tesseract. (sounds a little like the plot of Umbrella Academy). The all-new, original series debuts exclusively on Disney+ on June 11, 2021.

Also joining the cast of Loki are Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
