Can you believe it has been almost a year since The Falcon and The Winter Soldier premiered on Disney+ in March of 2021? We can’t! But Loungefly, a fan-favorite geeky and nerdy accessories brand from Funko, Inc., announced its latest addition to its extensive Marvel line. These new Loungefly designs are inspired by and celebrate the Falcon as Marvel’s new Captain America. The collection will be available this spring.
This design is meant to celebrate and showcase the Marvel Comics superhero Falcon’s transition to Captain America. The design is inspired by the uniforms The Falcon (portrayed by Anthony Mackie) wears in the Disney+ series Marvel’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. The collection will be available on Loungefly.com in the spring of 2022.
Loungefly is known for its mini backpacks and new designs are often sought after by collectors. This officially licensed Falcon Captain America Cosplay Mini Backpack displays the winged, white star of Captain America’s uniform, and the wings move. Straps are adjustable, and there are pockets on either side. The backpack is made of textured vegan leather (polyurethane) and includes embroidered, applique, and debossed details.
This Loungefly Falcon Captain America Cosplay Zip Around Wallet displays the winged, white star of Captain America’s uniform, against a field of blue. The reverse side includes the red and white stripes of the uniform. Note the coordinating interior lining, which features the red-white-and-blue winged star motif. The wallet is made of vegan leather (polyurethane) and includes embroidered, applique, and debossed details.
Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” starred Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” and in this series, they team up on a global adventure. The series tells the story of Falcon’s transition into becoming Captain America. The series was directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer. The six-episode series also stars Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
