Nickelodeon will be at San Diego Comic-Con International 2023 with activations and products for three of its most popular franchises: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Good Burger, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Nickelodeon Booth (#4113) at San Diego Comic-Con 2023
At the Nickelodeon booth (#4113), fans can take photos with a giant 12-foot-long skateboard, play a game at the Good Burger restaurant, and take a personality quiz to find out their element in Avatar: The Last Airbender. There will also be costumed character appearances, retail sales, and giveaways.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Photo Opportunity and Experience: Turtle fans can take photos with a giant 12-foot-long skateboard and learn about Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo on an interactive screen.
- Good Burger 2 Experience: Step inside a detailed recreation of the famed restaurant outfitted with props and signage from the actual Good Burger 2 movie set, including the Good Shake machine, tables and tabletop elements, sauce bottles, and more. Approved by Ed himself, compete against the clock and another player to virtually smash as many burgers as possible before time runs out in the original game, Good Burger Smash. Before exiting the Good Burger restaurant, snap a picture inside the photo booth to share via social media.
- Avatar: The Last Airbender Activation and Photo Opportunity: What’s your element? Answer a 5-question personality quiz to discover your element – air, earth, fire, or water. Fans will receive a printed trading card featuring their photo and element. Welcome to the Avatarverse! Don’t leave without snapping a photo with life-size cutouts of Aang, Sokka, Katara, Toph, Zuko, and the Cabbage Merchant from original the Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- Customized T-Shirt and Flip-Flop Station: Fans can purchase t-shirts and flip-flops at the retail shop and create their own custom design from a choice of 15 fan-favorite Nick shows and characters. Items are ready within minutes!
- Costumed-Character Appearances: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will make appearances at select times.

Stars of the Nickelodeon Franchise are unable to attend San Diego Comic-Con due to WGA and SAG-AFTRA Strike
Held annually in San Diego, CA, San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) celebrates comic books, movies, television, and other forms of pop culture. It is the largest convention of its kind in the world, and it attracts over 130,000 people each year.
As they do every year, SDCC organizers worked with creatives across all facets of the entertainment industry to bring fans tons of exciting panels and events. But due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA Strike, the actors and writers who create these projects cannot celebrate with fans at SDCC. As part of the strike, they will not be able to promote any scripted television and theatrical work from struck companies.
The livelihoods of working-class SAG-AFTRA and WGA members are in jeopardy because the AMPTP refuses to offer a fair deal to creatives who work in television, theatrical, and streaming. The AMPTP needs to meet their demands so that actors and writers can be both paid fairly and continue to produce the shows and movies we love. It is heartbreaking to know that the people making the stories we love are unable to support themselves financially due to corporate greed. And now they cannot even celebrate their work with their fans at the biggest fan event of the year.
San Diego Comic-Con gets a lot of hype because of its big celebrity-filled events. Fans and industry insiders come from all over the world come to SDCC for more than just celebrities. Hall H panels and the big studio announcements are just one part of it. There is still so much to do at San Diego Comic-Con. But it’s heartbreaking that these actors and writers can’t celebrate their work this year.
