“No Badge Required” Events at San Diego Comic Con 2019
Didn’t get badges to San Diego Comic Con? Still want to be part of the fun? Do you have a badge but want to know what else is happening outside of San Diego Comic Con? Here is a list of a ton cool offsite events that do not require a Comic Con badge!

IMPRACTICAL JOKERS BLOCK PARTY
The Impractical Jokers are taking San Diego Comic-Con by storm again. truTV’s gang are headed back to the Park at Petco Park again this year, for the third annual Impractical Jokers: Block Party fan event on Saturday, July 21.
Things will kick off at 11AM and run until 9PM, with all-day entertainment including a zipline, 3D photo experience featuring iconic punishments from the series, custom face painting, a White Castle food truck, exclusive merchandise for sale, and music. There will also be a themed ball pit, an obstacle course with fan-favorite props from the series, and appearances.
Location: Park at the Park East Village Gate Entry (10th and K Streets)
The event is free and open to the public. No badges required.
The Batman Experience
In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Batman, DC, and AT&T* today announced THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE POWERED BY AT&T, a massive, interactive exhibition that includes the largest-ever collection of Batman-related props, costumes, and vehicles. The immersive pop-up museum and gaming-centric installation will transport fans into the crime-fighting world of the Dark Knight and will be open to the public at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park at 10 a.m. PT from Thursday, July 18th through Sunday, July 21st. No SDCC badge is required to enter this free exhibition.
The Boys: World Premiere Fan Screening and Party will take place on Friday July 19th from 7pm -11:30pm at The Amazon Prime Video Experience at Comic-Con, MLK and 1st, San Diego, CA 92101. The cast & creators of The Boys will join fans for an exclusive 2-episode sneak preview ahead of the series premiere.

Carnival Row After Party
Amazon prime Video will be hosting a Carnival Row: Come As You Are Party. The theme “Come as you are!” is their way of saying whoever you choose to be, your individuality will be celebrated at this closing celebration of the 50th Annual San Diego Comic-Con. As you enjoy a drink or a few, be on the lookout for characters from Carnival Row, enjoy a sneak peek of the upcoming series, and dance to a live DJ performance. The event will take place on Saturday, July 20 from 7 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. PT

JEAN-LUC PICARD: THE FIRST DUTY EXHIBIT
In celebration of Patrick Stewart’s return to his iconic STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION role, “Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty” is a special exhibition showcasing original props, costumes and other artifacts tracing Picard’s life and Starfleet career. Items on display include his cherished Ressikan flute, the legendary Picard family album, his Starfleet uniforms, models of ships Picard captained and all that remains of the “Borg Queen.” The gallery also features exclusive first looks at costumes and other items featured in the upcoming CBS All Access series STAR TREK: PICARD. Visitors will have the first chance to purchase exclusive STAR TREK: PICARD merchandise and opportunities for exclusive giveaways. The gallery is located at Michael J Wolf Fine Arts, 363 Fifth Ave., San Diego, Calif. 92101 and will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Comic-Con from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
COMIC-CON COMEDY SHUTTLE
CBS will offer complimentary rides throughout the Gaslamp District in branded shuttles. Featured shows will include the new fall comedies BOB ♥ ABISHOLA, CAROL’S SECOND ACT and THE UNICORN. Trailers of the series will be screened for the passengers as well.
Additionally, EVIL will be offering festival-goers complimentary rides during the day throughout the Gaslamp District, while hosting “Frightseeing Tours” in the evenings in Old Town. Trailers of EVIL, a CBS original series, will be screened for the passengers, and brand ambassadors will distribute giveaways. Exclusive “Frightseeing Tours” will run Thursday and Friday nights for select fans.

The Great SherlockeDCC Scavenger Hunt will be open to all con attendees regardless of badge. The purpose of the game is to accumulate as many points as possible by completing tasks from The Tin Box, Dr. Watson’s storage file where he kept all of his and Sherlock Holmes’ adventures.

2nd Annual celebration of Black Comics, Sci-Fi, Afrofuturism, and Astral Blackness during the week of San Diego Comic-con! The Afrofuturism Lounge is the first of its kind and back again for another round; Part After Party, Part Black Artists Showcase. Proceeds from this event will benefit DETOUR (Depositing Empowerment Through Outreach & Urban Redevelopment). DETOUR is a mentoring program for girls of color whose mission is to increase access to education and employment opportunities for girls through our Focused And Naturally Confident Youth (F.A.N.C.Y.) Leadership programs (Expo, Leadership Academy, and Ambassador Internships). Our message is it is never too late to reposition yourself to passionately seek and fulfill your purpose! This ties in perfectly with the Afrofuturism and the principle of Sankofa. It’s never too late to go back and fix it.

Her Universe Fashion Show Returns to San Diego Comic Con 2019
The Her Universe Fashion Show is the epicenter of the geek fashion movement as designers compete with their original “geek couture” designs to win the ultimate prize – the opportunity to design a Her Universe fashion collection with Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein for Hot Topic. The show will be held once again at the beautiful Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel, Harbor Ballroom, opening night of SDCC, Thursday, July 18th at 6pm. Admission is FREE.
