New York Comic Con will return October 12-15th, and we finally have on-sale dates for NYCC 2023 tickets! As a ReedPop event, NYCC will have a few different pre-sales. Let’s take a look at those and the prices fans can expect to pay this year.

NYCC 2023 Ticket Presales And General On-sale Dates

The first wave of tickets will be available in the VIP Pre-Sale on Wednesday, May 31st at 10am ET. These tickets will be available to fans who bought VIP tickets for last year’s New York Comic Con in 2022 for 24 hours only.

On Friday, June 2nd at noon ET, the “Popverse Superfan” presale will open up. Popverse, another extension of ReedPop, offers yearly subscriptions to fans with varying levels of benefits. These include presales for events like NYCC, early access to photo-op and autograph purchases for these events, and digital event tickets. The “Superfan” level is the only one that offers the presales to its members and is priced at $99 a year. This presale will also be only for 24 hours.

Finally, for the presales, those who are already part of NYCC’s Fan Verification program can buy their tickets starting Sunday, June 11th at 10am ET. This presale will include any fans who bought tickets for recent NYCC events and have confirmed and rolled over their Fan Verification profile by 11:59pm ET on May 5th (check your email associated with your Fan Verification account if you haven’t done so already for the email to do this). Fans will have 48 hours to purchase their tickets during the Fan Verification presale.

For the General On-sale, NYCC will once again ask new ticket holders to first create a Fan Verification profile in an attempt to decrease sales to ticket scalpers and bots. More information on how to apply is “coming soon,” according to NYCC. Once verified, all hopeful NYCC attendees will be able to purchase tickets starting Wednesday, June 21st at noon ET until the event is sold out.

If you’re planning on attending NYCC 2023 with friends, then keep in mind that they do limit how many of each type of ticket you can purchase at a time. You are limited to 2 VIP tickets, four 4-Day passes, and/or 4 single-day tickets per order- with a cap of 16 tickets of any combined type per order.

Ticket Types

New York Comic Con will once again be offering VIP, 4-Day, Single Day, Sunday Kids, and Digital tickets for their 2023 event. Here is what you need to know.

Though not included in their initial posts or website page about the tickets, NYCC has confirmed via the comments on their Facebook post about the presales that VIP tickets will likely sell out before the Fan Verification presale. As in the past, while other ticket types will be limited to allow them to still be available for other fans, all of the VIP tickets will be available for the VIP presale and whatever remains after for the Superfan presale. There may be some still available for the Fan Verification presale, but expect those to go very quickly if they are. NYCC has confirmed that 4-Day tickets will still be available for the Fan Verification presale.

Prices for NYCC 2023 have gone up some, too. For the 2022 show, 4-Day passes were $212.75 including the service fee with single day passes coming in at $67.75. NYCC 2023 4-Day passes will be $232.75 and all single-day adult tickets will be $72.75, both with fees already included.

VIP tickets for NYCC 2023 are priced at $552.75, but come with some decent perks if you’re able to get your hands on one. VIP ticket holders are guaranteed seating at the main stages of NYCC, the Main and Empire stages, as long as you arrive 25 minutes before the start of the panel. VIPs are also guaranteed at least standing room at all other panel rooms. This ticket also includes separate (and often faster) lines for other areas of the con, a swag bag, a private lounge, free coat/bag check, an exclusive hotel reservation block, and other perks.

4-Day passes will, of course, get you entry to all four days of NYCC 2023. Single day tickets are sold for each specific day of NYCC Thursday through Sunday and often remain available longer. Saturday will typically sell out first, but as the event approaches, NYCC will make announcements about guests and events on specific dates to sell more of those single-day tickets.

New York Comic Con also offers a special discounted ticket for kids aged 6-12 on the Sunday of the con. A ticket for an adult is required as an additional purchase (as the kids need to be supervised) but at $27.75 it’s a great way for younger kids to get to see NYCC. Kid-friendly events will often be held on Sunday of NYCC to specifically cater to the younger audience.

Finally, if you can’t make it to NYCC but are still interested in whatever panels they may have to offer this year, you can get a digital ticket for $27.75. This will allow you to watch livestreams from the Main and Empire stages, where the “big” panels typically take place, as well as video-on-demand of panels from other areas of NYCC 2023. Included is 30 days of access to other Popverse content.

If you’re hoping to attend NYCC 2023 in person, then you’ll need to purchase your tickets before September 3rd in order to get your ticket mailed to you and any merch you buy at the same time. Purchases after that date may have to be picked up at the will-call at the Javits Center.

That’s everything you need to know about NYCC 2023 tickets! Are you planning on attending this year? What do you hope to see at New York Comic Con 2023?
