New York Comic Con 2025 ticket details are finally here! NYCC, run by ReedPop, will take place from October 9-12 this year. If you’re looking for tickets, there will be a few pre-sale opportunities before passes are released to the general public. Let’s take a look at those dates and prices for this year!
NYCC 2025 Ticket Presales
With multiple pre-sales again this year, it can be a bit tricky to keep track of when you’ll be able to buy your tickets. This depends on Popverse membership level and “fan verification” status. Let’s break it down!
But first: Please note that there is NO VIP presale for NYCC 2025 tickets. This is a change from previous years. More on that later!

Popverse Superfan Presale
Popverse- a part of the ReedPop family- offers various online subscriptions that come with benefits to members. Levels and prices vary, but if you are a New York Comic Con Superfan member you get first access to tickets. This membership costs $99/year, though it does come with other perks. These include video archives of past ReedPop events, “premium access” to photo and autograph sessions, and other benefits.
If you are a current NYCC Superfan or sign up for the subscription, you can get your NYCC 2025 tickets Wednesday, June 4th starting at noon ET. This presale will only be available for 48 hours before sales close.
Fan Verification Presale
Those with a current “Fan Verification” profile with NYCC are next for the presales! If you’re not sure what this is, it’s likely you will not be eligible for this presale. If you’ve attended a NYCC in the past few years and have both filled out and rolled over your profile for 2025 (deadline for this has already passed), you’re in luck though!
The Fan Verification presale will start Sunday, June 15 at 10am ET. You will have until tickets for the presale sell out or until Monday, June 16th at noon ET to purchase your tickets.
General Onsale
As for everyone else looking for NYCC 2025 tickets, your chance will come Wednesday, June 25 at noon ET. But there’s a few things to keep in mind:
Firstly, you will need to make a “Fan Verification” profile before this date. Applications for these profiles will open after the Fan Verification Presale closes on Monday, June 16 at noon ET. The initial period to set your profile up will end Sunday, June 22 at midnight ET.
In the past, if tickets do not sell out within a certain time frame of the General Onsale, ReedPop will reopen Fan Verification applications. Generally, these profiles will be allowed to purchase NYCC tickets as soon as they are created.
Also keep in mind that some ticket types may sell out in the presales. VIP tickets will for sure sell out before the general onsale and 4-day passes may be unavailable by this point as well.
NYCC 2025 Ticket Types and Prices
There’s been a few changes to the perks of types of tickets available this year, as well as a few price increases across all ticket types. Let’s take a look so you can find the best one for you! Just note that these prices do not include any associated fees or taxes.
VIP Tickets
The most expensive NYCC 2025 tickets are the VIP passes. The biggest change (outside of price) to the VIP passes is that NYCC is no longer offering a presale for previous VIP ticket holders. Previously, those who purchased a VIP pass for the last NYCC got first crack at VIP tickets for the next NYCC. This is no longer the case. And it appears this may be how they do things moving forward.
However, you do get some other nice perks. Highlights include:
- reserved seating at the Empire and Main stages (the biggest panel rooms where the marquee panels take place)
- guaranteed access to other panel areas
- first access to purchase autographs, photo ops, and other separately ticketed events at NYCC
- a “fast pass” line for autographs and photo ops
- complimentary bag check located in the VIP lounge
- a VIP concierge service available at the Javits via text during the show hours
- a free Thursday badge for a friend
You can check out the other perks here. VIP tickets for NYCC 2025 are $800– that’s up $225 from last year’s price of $575 (the biggest price jump across all ticket types).
4-Day and Single Day NYCC 2025 Tickets
If you’re not quite wanting to splurge on the VIP tickets, NYCC also offers 4-day and single day tickets! These will, of course, get you into the con and all of the exciting things NYCC has to offer! Panels (you might need a reservation), artist alley, and 400+ exhibitors on the show floor. You’ll also be able to enter giveaways and visit various activations from the brands and studios attending NYCC.
4-Day tickets, covering the entire event will be $260. After VIP passes, this ticket type is usually the first to sell out. This is up just slightly from last year’s price of $240.
Single day tickets have to be bought for the specific day you are looking to attend. Each day, including Sunday, is priced at $80. Of the individual days, Saturday is usually the first to sell out. Other days may be available for longer, depending on what announcements NYCC makes in terms of guests and panels.
Kids Tickets- Sunday Only
If you have a kid aged 6-12 as of the NYCC 2025 dates, you can get a discounted ticket for Sunday of the event! Sunday is a shorter day generally, and NYCC plans kid-friendly activities and panels. If you’d like to get one of these tickets, they are $30 each. It’s a great way to introduce your kid to an event like NYCC without worrying if they’ll be able to do the entire weekend!
Receiving Your NYCC 2025 Tickets
If you want to attend NYCC 2025, I recommend getting your tickets ASAP once they’re on sale for whatever group you fall into! If you’re really looking to get a VIP ticket, your best chance will be to sign up for the paid Popverse membership to get the first chance at those tickets. However, when will your tickets arrive once purchased?
If you live in the US and purchase your NYCC 2025 tickets before August 17, ReedPop will mail your passes to you starting in September. In previous years this deadline has sometime been extended, but I would not make plans based on that.
If you purchase your ticket closer to the event, or live outside of the US, you will need to pick up your passes at Will Call. The Will Call desk at the Javits generally opens a day or two before NYCC gets going so you can beat the lines!
