Head of Marvel Television, Animation and Comics Brad Winderbaum kicked off the presentations alongside Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Stephen Wacker to bridge the gap between page and screen. The event highlighted an impressive slate of upcoming Disney+ projects.
Massive Slate of New Series and Multi-Season Renewals
The showcase brought a flurry of major announcements, highlighted by an expansive future for Marvel Animation and Television. Winderbaum revealed that the brand-new live-action series “Zodiac” is currently casting ahead of a 2027 production start and an expected 2028 premiere on Disney+. Additionally, “Marvel Zombies” received a massive three-season renewal for distinct two-part special events, beginning with “Marvel Zombies: Winter Soldier” for Halloween 2027, followed by “Marvel Zombies: Fist of Khonshu” in 2028, and “Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian” in 2029. Fans in attendance were also treated to an early look at Season 3 of the critically acclaimed “X-Men ’97.”

Star-Studded Panels for Spider-Man and Daredevil
Moderator Brandon Davis took the stage alongside showrunner Jeff Trammell to share exciting updates for “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” announcing a January 13, 2027 Disney+ premiere date for Season 2 alongside an exclusive preview and new poster. The excitement continued as Davis welcomed members of the Defenders for a major reunion panel celebrating the final season of “Daredevil: Born Again.” Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones united on stage to share an exclusive look at the upcoming third season, which is officially set to debut on Disney+ in 2027.

“VisionQuest” Panel and Surprise Screening
The headline event featured the cast and filmmakers behind “VisionQuest,” bringing stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, showrunner Terry Matalas, Ruaridh Mollica, and Emily Hampshire to the stage. The panel detailed the narrative of Vision, who has been in hiding after escaping those who sought to weaponize him. Searching for new meaning, he consults embedded AI personas like F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and Ultron, only to be thrust on the run with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s reincarnated son. Following an exclusive preview and panel discussion, the creators surprised the packed house with an early screening of Episode 1 ahead of the series’ official Disney+ debut on October 14, sending fans home with exclusive mini-posters.
