The Jim Henson Creature Shop brings a variety of talents to the table. Their expertise includes:
Concept/Design: Character designs range from black & white pencil sketches to fully rendered color designs in 2D and 3D, as well as sculpted maquettes.
Animatronics: They fabricate mechanized systems, from simple cable mechanisms to servo motor-powered units that create various movements controllable by a performer.
Walkaround Costumes: The Creature Shop builds full-sized costumes for performers, encompassing robots, creatures, animals, and more.
Soft Puppets: They create soft puppet characters, complete with custom wardrobes and accessories/props.
