“PREACHER” BRINGS THE GOOD WORD OF SEASON 2 TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON

Friday at SDCC, Hall H became slightly more (less?) holy when the producers and stars of AMC’s hit series “Preacher” took to the stage to discuss the show’s evolution with its second season.

Comedian and Host Chris Hardwick moderated the panel, with Seth Rogen (Executive Producer), Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer), Ruth Negga (Tulip O’Hare), Joseph Gilgun (Cassidy), Ian Colleti (Arseface), and Graham McTavish (The Saint of Killers) providing an inside look on what went into making the show.

As a bonus, there was a special appearance by ‘The Grail,’ played by Pip Torrence (Herr Starr), Julie Ann Emery (Featherstone), and Malcolm Barrett (Hoover).

Check out “Preacher,” Mondays on AMC 9PM ET/PT, based on the landmark comic book series by Garth Ennis and the late Steve Dillon. It’s the twisted tale of Jesse, a small-town preacher, who becomes the host for a divine being that grants him the power to control people with his voice. Still with us? Good, because he has a highly volatile con-woman as his true love, Tulip, and a 119-year-old Irish vampire as a best friend, Cassidy. This season, they’ve hit the road.
