Summer school is starting early this year. Pretty Little Liars: Summer School returns to stream on Max on May 9th.
“Pretty Little Liars: Summer School” Season 2
The secon season promises more than just academics for the liars. We’ll get to follow along with Imogen’s natural hair journey and see her explore her identity outside of ballet. The official trailer hints at therapy sessions, new romances, and of course, more adventures for Mouse and Ash.
But there’s also trouble brewing. Many fans, like myself, are worried about Kelly. Getting stuck in a teen youth church group sounds way more terrifying than the new villain, Bloody Rose!
Speaking of release dates, there seems to have been some confusion. In a previous video, I mentioned May 24th based on IMDB information. However, Max has confirmed the official premiere date is May 9th.

What we know so far
The Liars face summer school after “Original Sin,” but that’s not all. A new villain, maybe linked to “A,” arrives in Millwood to torment them. Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco return as the new Liars. Newcomers include Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez, and Elias Kacavas.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (“Riverdale”) and Lindsay Calhoon Bring (“Sabrina”) create, write, and produce with Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment. Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo (Alloy), Marlene King (“Pretty Little Liars”), and Michael Grassi also executive produce.
The second season of the Max drama Pretty Little Liars: Summer School premieres May 9th with two episodes, followed by weekly releases on Max until June 20th.
