In this very clever and hilarious marketing ploy, Mr. Peanut is seen sacrificing himself to save the lives of his buddies Matt Walsh and Wesley Snipes. The Twitterverse wasted no time paying respect and sharing their condolences. RIP Mr. Peanut!

The ad below was released today and will air during the Superbowl Pre-Game show. During the Super Bowl somewhere near the third quarter of the game, the brand’s official commercial will broadcast Mr. Peanut’s funeral.
