Netflix has released new photos along with a trailer for the highly anticipated season 4 of Stranger Things. Season 3 amassed 582 Million view hours, ranking it as the 2nd Most Popular English-language series in the Netflix Top 10. It is one of Netflix’s most award-winning series, with 65 award wins and 175 award nominations. So to say that this trailer has been a long time coming is an understatement.

The trailer for season 4 of Stranger Things begins with what looks like the damage from the compound in the season three finale and an ominous voice warning that payback is coming. It then cuts to scenes that depict the Hawkins friends trying to move on with their lives after the events of season 3. Max is seen at her late brother’s grave. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin are going on to high school without Eleven and Noah. We also finally get to see where Jim Hopper has been taken after the events of season 3. Lastly, the trailer also gives us a glimpse at the new faces and alien-like dangers we will be seeing in season 4.
