Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson were in New York City to promote the World Premiere of Men In Black: International. The pair worked together previously in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame. This movie is the 4th installment and a continuation of the original Men In Black Series from 1997 that starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee, Jones. This new continuation finds Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson starring as Agent H and Agent M, who employ high-tech weaponry to battle mischievous aliens on Earth. The movie releases on Friday, June 14th and Rotten Tomatoes has already described this movie as “Amiable yet forgettable” but audience scores might weigh differently as the film is released. The Movie is directed by Felix Gary Gray.

In Los Angeles on Hollywood Blvd in front of the El Capitan Theater, a giant Carnival was set up for the Toy Story 4 Premiere! On the red carpet were some of Hollywood’s most influential stars. In what is also the fourth film installment for the Toy Story franchise we find Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embarking on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. They are also reunited with a long lost friend Bo Peep. The film stars both returning cast members like Tim Allen and Tom Hanks and welcomes new cast members Jordan Peele, Keanu Reeves, and Keegan Micheal Key. Early reports have been mainly positive with critics praising the film’s dedication to great storytelling. Toy Story 4 opens to general audiences on June 20th.

The biggest convention news has been coming out of San Diego Comic Con. With announcements that some of the bigger movie studios will not be in Hall H this year although they will have a major presence in the exhibition halls. Due to the fact that Disney is now focusing on their own conventions such as Star Wars celebration and D23 we most likely won’t be seeing Star Wars, Disney, Pixar or marvel in Hall H for the foreseeable future. Warner Brothers will also not be Heading to Hall H this year. Wonder Woman 84 director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter to drop a poster for WW*84 and to relay the news that Warner Bros will not be in Hall H.

This isn’t the first time big studios have skipped out on Hall H. That just leaves room for other studios like Sony, Amazon, Netflix, and AMC to fill some of those coveted spots in Hall H. That leaves us with D23 will be closing out the big summer conventions. Coming off the success of Avengers: Endgame and the end of the Skywalker saga coming to a close in The Rise of Skywalker we can expect some pretty magnificent guest appearances at D23. The trailer for Frozen 2 has also dropped this week. Leading us to believe that D23 will be one of the most star-studded events this summer.

This past weekend for the 35th Anniversary of Ghostbusters fans were allowed on to the Sony Pictures Studio Lot in Culver City, CA for a ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME private event celebrating the Ghostbusters’ legacy. Fans had the chance to meet members of the Ghostbusters cast, filmmakers and crew and hear about behind the scenes stories and watch live performances. Including one from Ray Parker Jr is best known for the hit song “Who you gonna call?”
