Teaser Trailer “COMPANION” starring Jack Quaid, Sophie Thatcher

There is a new teaser trailer for next year’s sci-fi/horror film starring Jack Quaid, and Sophie Thatcher. “Companion” Get ready for a new kind of romance. New Line Cinema, the studio that once gave us the heartwarming “The Notebook,” is taking a sharp turn into terrifying territory with “Companion,” a sci-fi horror film from the producers of the chilling hit “Barbarian.” This time, love isn’t in the air – fear is.

“Companion” starring Jack Quaid, Sophie Thatcher

The newly released trailer for “Companion” promises a disturbing and violent descent into a relationship gone very, very wrong. While plot details remain shrouded in secrecy, the film, rated “R” for strong violence, sexual content, and language, hints at a toxic and potentially deadly partnership.

Sophie Thatcher

“Companion” boasts an impressive cast, led by Sophie Thatcher (known for her roles in “Yellowjackets” and “The Boogeyman”) and Jack Quaid (“The Boys,” “Scream”). Furthermore, joining them are rising stars like Lukas Gage (“You”), Megan Suri (“Never Have I Ever”), and Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”). Adding to the intrigue, the always captivating Rupert Friend (“Homeland,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi”) also stars.

Marking the directorial debut of Drew Hancock (“My Dead Ex,” “Suburgatory”), “Companion” is produced by the same team that brought us the unexpected horror of “Barbarian” – Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz, Zach Cregger, and Roy Lee. Consequently, this pedigree alone suggests a film that will subvert expectations and deliver genuine scares.

Behind the Scenes Talent

“Companion” also features a talented crew, including cinematographer Eli Born (“The Boogeyman”), production designer Scott Kuzio (“Fear Street” trilogy), and composer Hrishikesh Hirway (“Song Exploder”). In short, their combined expertise promises a visually and aurally compelling cinematic experience.
