The biggest news for Whovians this week was learning that star Jodie Whittaker and showrunner Chris Chibnall will depart the Tardis after 2022. The announcement came with the news that Whittaker’s final run as the Thirteenth Doctor will continue with a new season airing later this year, and a series of specials next year. The company has pushed back, citing the pandemic, and claims Johansson has no merit to the suit. Emma Stone, whose Cruella had a similar Disney Plus and Theatrical premiere, is reportedly also considering her legal options.
