The Punisher Review

The Punisher is the six Netflix Marvel show. Jon Bernthal returns to play the Frank Castle aka (The Punisher). The first time we saw the Punisher he was one man army bringing a war zone to Hell’s Kitchen in the second season of Daredevil. Finding and killing the people responsible of his family’s brutal murder.

This season takes place six months after the events of The Defenders. Frank Castle is now living under a new alias name Peter Castiglione. Trying to live a somewhat normal life but Franks past has coming back to hunt him. Frank is forced to work with a man name David Lieberman aka (Micro) who was a former NSA agent left for dead by the US government because he discovered a video of US soldiers doing illegal military operations overseas. They both must work together to take down the same government they sworn to protect and serve.Punisher season one is about 13 episode and I have to say I love every single episode. John Bernthal once again brings amazing performances as Frank Castle. And I love the new cast Ebon Moss-Bachrach that plays David Lieberman aka (Micro) is great his the voice of reason whenever Frank does something outrageous. Amber Rose Revah plays Dinah Madani Homeland Security agent who is vexed by the Punisher. And Ben Barnes who plays Billy Russo Franks friend, brother in arms and enemy.

The season starts off pretty slow in the few episodes but when the action hits it hits and you get to see Frank Castle bring on the punishment. But the punisher is more then man going around killing bad guys. In this season talks about dealing with lost, soldiers coming home and doing with PTSD and gun control. So if you love the Marvel Netflix shows I highly recommend adding this to your queue. The Punisher is streaming on Netflix
