The Witcher: Blood Origin Discussion – Temple of Geek Podcast

In this episode of the Temple of Geek podcast, Suhaila is joined by guests Maria and JJ to discuss the new Netflix limited series “The Witcher: Blood Origin”.

Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin tells a story lost to time – one of seven outcasts who unite against an unstoppable power that took everything from them. Their blood quest gives rise to a prototype Witcher in a conflict that brings about the “conjunction of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.

About our Hosts

Suhaila is an engineer who has a love for all things sci-fi, fantasy, and comedy. Her favourite stories are ones that keep you on your toes and make you think deeper. She loves discussing characters, and themes, and thinking up wild theories (that typically pan out). And she loves creating earrings to match the shows she watches. You can watch her live reactions, see her earrings, and find her theories on her Tiktok page @sustheories.

Maria Akhtar is a medical student that loves to overthink and overanalyze tv shows a little too much and now has a TikTok dedicated to just that. Already a fan of many realms and universes, including Harry Potter, MCU, DCU, and Game of Thrones but on a mission to infiltrate the rest of the fandoms as well, ahem Star wars; while also being a huge film enthusiast. If Abed Nadir had a little sister, she would still be cooler than me but I would definitely be her best friend. You can find her on Tiktok at @mariawatcheseverything

JJ is a Nerd who likes to talk about Marvel, Star Wars, ASOIAF, LOTR, and other geeky things. You can find her on TikTok as @ladydragonjj and you can check out her linktree for more.
