After a few weeks of keeping fans in suspense and what feels like an eternity since the last episode of Doctor Who, we finally have a trailer for the new season. The 13th season known as “Doctor Who: Flux“, will premiere on October 31st, 2021.
Doctor Who: Flux Trailer
In the trailer, we see Jodie Whittaker returning as the 13th Doctor along with Mandip Gil as Yaz Khan. In a promo spot from a few days ago that featured Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor, we learned that The Flux will be the Doctor’s latest enemy. With it would come The Sontarans, Weeping Angels, creatures known as the Ravagers, and enemies from across the universe. This trailer also reveals the return of the Cyberman, The Ood, and new monsters.
We also got a small glimpse at newcomers to the show, including John Bishop as Dan and Jacob Anderson as Vinder.
Last week, the Doctor Who social media accounts vanished shortly after posting a 5-second video clip of the 13th Doctor trying to make contact with someone through a broken broadcast. The sudden disappearance of all of the social media left fans around the world confused. Which, in all honesty, was a brilliant piece of marketing. It had fans buzzing and speculating.
Doctor Who will air on BBC One, BBC America, and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, October 31st.
