Posted by Many know Anime Impulse for their winter convention at the Pomona Fairplex, but for those located in Orange County, the convention is coming to Costa Mesa this September 3rd to the 4th! Here are some things you need to know about Anime Impulse OC in order to have a great con experience.
What to expect from Anime Impulse OC 2022
Because this is an anime and manga convention, you can expect special guests, cosplay gatherings, exhibitors, an artist alley, live performances, and special events.
Fans will be able to see some of the anime’s best voice actors. These include, but are not limited to:
- Anne Yatco (Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen)
- Allegra Clark (Maki Zen’in from Jujutsu Kaisen)
- Zach Aguilar (Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer)
- Alejandro Saab (Miyamura in Horimiya)
- Chris Hackney (Ayato in Genshin Impact)
- Jenny Yokobori (Yoimiya in Genshin Impact and Wanda in One Piece)
- Howard Wang (Langa Hasegawa in Sk8 the Infinity)

Of course, cosplay is a huge deal at conventions. From dressing up as your favorite characters and merely exploring the event to attending gatherings of those dressed from the same series, it’s a wonderful experience.

Stay Prepared
Like with any event, there are many things to consider before attending. Here is a list of what you should bring:
- A water bottle
- Charger and cable for your phone
- Any medicine you might need
- Money for food, merch, and art
- Snacks
- Extra shoes (if your cosplay requires heels, and your feet end up hurting)Â
- Materials to get autographed from your favorite guests!
