William Shatner Gives the Orders on New Fox Series “Stars on Mars”

This summer, William Shatner (of Star Trek fame) will be giving the orders and assignments from Mission Control to 12 celebrities who will compete in the upcoming unscripted series Stars on Mars. These 12 celebrities will pack their bags and ditch their jerseys, business suits, and extravagant Hollywood attire to put on an astronaut suit. Professional athletes, reality world megastars, triumphant entrepreneurs, renowned television and film actors, uproarious comedians and trailblazing entertainers will colonize, compete, and conquer “Mars” until there is one victorious space invader.

In Stars on Mars, celebrities will live, eat, sleep, strategize and bond with each other in the same space station. During their stay, they will endure the conditions in a simulated recreation of the planet Mars. They must use their brains, brawn, or maybe even their gift of gab to outlast the competition. However, those celebrities who are unable to accomplish their missions must “return to Earth.”
