Toronto Comicon Kicks off Con Season

Spring is arriving in Toronto which also means it is the start of Ontario’s Con Season. Starting us off this month was Toronto Comicon (Locally known as March Comicon). This con is hosted by FanExpo which is the End of Summer Con.

This year we are celebrating many anniversaries including Pokémon, Lord of the Rings, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This showed at Comicon as many of the celebrity guests were involved in TMNT projects.

Pokémon didn’t have any official guests or panels, but there were plenty of vendors providing Pokémon merch. Many fans also showed up in Pokémon Cosplay. Cosplayers could get a free photoshoot with the cosplay collective. They had many backgrounds including Alice in Wonderland as well as Cyberpunk 2077.

You could also take photos at Wilson Fisk’s (Kingpin) office. This was a booth set up to promote Daredevil’s new season. You could sit directly on his office chair to take a picture!

Audible promoted their Project Hail Mary audiobook with an immersive audio and visual experience with excerpts from the audiobook. Project Hail Mary also did a collab with a chocolatier providing themed chocolate from the movie.
