Prop Store Memorabilia Auction Sneak Peek! (Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, & Marvel)

Propstore, one of the world’s leading entertainment memorabilia auction houses, has announced its Summer Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, taking place August 26 – 29, 2026, in Los Angeles. Featuring more than 1,700 lots of original film and television props, costumes, production materials, and autographed items, the four-day event carries a combined pre-sale estimate of $10 million. Leading the sale is Tony Manero’s (John Travolta) iconic white suit from Saturday Night Fever (1977), estimated at $200,000-$400,000. Worn by Travolta during the film’s famous disco competition and featured across classic promotional material, the three-piece suit was later owned by film critic Gene Siskel and bears a handwritten inscription from Travolta.

In a preview interview with Nick from Temple of Geek, Propstore’s Chuck Costas highlighted the remarkable variety across this year’s lineup. With only about four months to assemble these auctions, Propstore uncovered several previously unseen treasures directly from original crew members:

Jurassic Park Amber Crystal: Sourced directly from a crew member, this screen-matched prop is believed to be the exact one used for the iconic opening sequence. As Costas noted, the imperfections in the amber allow for an exact screen match, making it one of the most significant items in the sale.
Pulp Fiction Costumes: Offered for the very first time, these costumes come straight from a source who worked on the film.
Back to the Future Wooden Hoverboard & License Plate: Featuring a center hole used for a specific wire-rigged shot, this wooden hoverboard shows clear production wear. Alongside it is a weathered “OUTATIME” metal license plate with hand-cut, shellacked letters, kept by a crew member after filming wrapped.
Christopher Reeve Superman Suit: Preserved in exceptional condition without the typical sun-fading that turns these tunics purple or gray over time, this piece features the iconic main tunic made from its specialized fabric.
Batman Suits: The auction displays both Michael Keaton’s suit from Batman Returns and Val Kilmer’s Sonar suit from Batman Forever.

Original Golden Snitch (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, 2001) — One of the first six Snitches created by prop maker Pierre Bohanna, used on set as a lighting and scale reference.
Tony Stark’s Iron Man Mark 46 Armor (Captain America: Civil War, 2016) — Featuring functional light-up components on the chest and arms. Full suits cost roughly $500,000 each to manufacture during production.
