Disney+ Debuts “A Fan’s Guide to Ms. Marvel” Documentary Short

Marvel fans have been just been treated to a new documentary short about the upcoming series, “Ms. Marvel.” Titled “A Fan’s Guide to Ms. Marvel,” the content dropped on Disney+ on June 1st, a week ahead of the official debut of the upcoming original. 

What Can We Expect From the Documentary?

The short gives fans an exclusive look behind the new series from its comic book origins to its development and production. Furthermore, Viewers will get to watch interviews with the award-winning team and star Iman Vellani.

What is “Ms. Marvel?”

Marvel Studio’s “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 8th. The show introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager with a big imagination. Kamala is an avid gamer, a fan-fiction scribe, and possibly, Captain Marvel’s biggest fan. However, growing up Muslim in Jersey City, she often feels left out, especially at school and at home. When she unexpectedly gains superpowers, Kamala finally gets the chance to live the life she’s always dreamed of.

“Ms. Marvel” stars Iman Vellani, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Fawad Khan, Laurel Marsden, Arian Moayed, Adaku Ononogbo, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Laith Nakli, Nimra Bucha and Travina Springer, with Aramis Knight. 

Bisha K. Ali serves as head writer, while Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Adil & Bilall, .Bisha K., Ali, and Sana Amanat are the executive producers. Adil & Bilall (Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah) directed the first and final episode of the season, while Meera Menon took on episodes 2 and 3, and Sharmreen directed episodes 4 and 5.
