‘Oddballs’ is coming to Netflix from the creators of TheOdd1sOut

From the creators of TheOdd1sOut YouTube channel, a new series called Oddballs is coming to Netflix. TheOdd1sOut is a YouTube channel with 17.8 million subscribers. The channel specializes in short, animated videos created by Robert James Rallison.

Netflix’s Oddballs based on TheOdd1sOut

The Netflix series is created by Rallison and Ethan Banville who are executive producers alongside Carl Faruolo and Michael Zoumas. They are in partnership with Atomic Cartoons (responsible for Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Max and Ruby, and the Minecraft Miniseries). Audiences of all ages are sure to enjoy this incredible production team’s take on the world.

Oddballs is going to follow James, a bubble-shaped boy, who observes the world around him and rants about everyday annoyances. Comedic and absurd rants drive his story and schemes that he dives into with his friends, Max and Echo. Robert James Rallison will be voicing the bubble shaped boy himself and is joined in the cast by Julian Grant, Kimberly Brooks, Gary Anthony Williams, and Carl Faruolo. Rallison did his own announcement video that was released yesterday on his channel, thanking his team and his fans for making this happen.

If the Netflix series is anything like TheOdd1s YouTube Channel, then viewers are going to be more than entertained. Robert’s first video recalls a story he wrote in 4th grade, narrated with a very try tone and very basic drawings and animation. This is where Robert’s journey began. I went from watching his first video to one he uploaded just 4 months ago, and the growth and difference is staggering. Robert sounds excited, and there is life and expression in his voice. The animation is soft and intriguing. The series is going to be aimed at children, but there is no doubt that Robert’s 17+ million subscribers are going to follow him to the streaming service. Making the children’s show a home run for all demographics. I genuinely recommend watching TheOdd1sOut YouTube channel to prepare yourself for this Netflix series.
