Get ready! Disney+ just dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated “Doctor Who” Christmas special, “Joy to the World,” premiering December 25th.

Imagine opening a hotel room door and finding yourself face-to-face with dinosaurs! That’s what happens to Joy when she stumbles into the Time Hotel, a gateway to danger and a thrilling encounter with the Doctor. But festive cheer turns to a fight for survival as a sinister plot threatens to ruin Christmas for everyone.

The episode boasts a star-studded cast featuring “Sex Education” star Ncuti Gatwa taking the helm as the Fifteenth Doctor, joined by Nicola Coughlan (“Bridgerton”) as the adventurous Joy. The cast also features Steph de Whalley, Jonathan Aris, Joel Fry, Peter Benedict, Julia Watson, and Niamh Marie Smith.

The Christmas special is written and executive produced by Steven Moffat (“Doctor Who,” “Sherlock”) and directed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai (“Riverdale,” “Bridgerton”). Russell T Davies leads the team as showrunner and executive producer.
