Akatsuki Games will host an immersive booth where fans can demo the game and step directly into the action-packed universe of Japan’s most thrilling new anime franchise.

“Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME” is a Kaiju-slaying Battle RPG that allows players to experience intense battles against colossal Kaijus, enhanced by fast-paced and cinematic visuals. Anime Expo attendees will be among the first in North America to go hands-on with the game and enjoy exclusive fan experiences at the immersive booth.
The immersive booth will feature a game demo corner. Playable units will run the latest Demo version of the game, giving attendees a firsthand look at its intuitive controls, explosive Ultimate Moves, and detailed battle sequences. Plus, fans can have their photo taken to create a personalized Japan Defense Force–style ID card! An LED video wall will showcase the official cinematic trailer and the electrifying gameplay highlights.

About the Series
“Kaiju No. 8” is a manga and anime series created by Naoya Matsumoto. The Japanese Defense Force works hard to protect its people from terrifying kaiju attacks. A 32-year-old Kafka Hibino aspires to be part of Japan’s Kaiju Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. However, life takes them in separate ways. Kafka works to clean up the aftermath of Kaiju battles, where he meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.
