Anime Expo (AX) 2023 is coming to the Los Angeles Convention Center Saturday, July 1st through Tuesday, July 4th. Among the schedule of events is an incredible lineup from Aniplex of America. The lineup includes a star-studded schedule of special events, premieres, and guests.
Aniplex of America at AX 2023
On Saturday, July 1st, attendees can watch the world premiere of “Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn-.” Fans will be the first to experience a new Holy Grail War in the western American city of Snowfield with the English dub screening presented by Aniplex of America. This exclusive event is happening at the Main Events stage. There will be special appearances by directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume.
Later on the same day, attendees are invited to join Aniplex of America in Petree Hall for the MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES panel. Both the Japanese and English cast of Mash Burnedead, Chiaki Kobayashi and Aleks Le will be part of the special guest lineup!
On Sunday, July 2nd, the “Disney Twisted-Wonderland” panel takes place at the Main Events stage. This panel will welcome voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Riddle Rosehearts) and Chiaki Kobayashi (Deuce Spade).
Demon Slayer fans can also look forward to Aniplex of America’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Special Event at the Main Events stage that will feature guests, including voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito), and Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi.
Closing out the day will be the FGO 6th Anniversary x TYPE-MOON Projects in Petree Hall. This event is to be hosted by localization producer Albert Kao, with special guests Ayako Kawasumi (Altria Pendragon), Kenji Akabane (Kadoc Zemlupus), Rie Takahashi (Mash Kyrielight), and Director of Development for Part 2 of Fate/Grand Order, KANOU YOSHIKI.
On Monday, July 3rd, Aniplex of America will present the U.S. premiere of the highly anticipated series, Rurouni Kenshin, at the Main Events stage. This exclusive screening will be followed by a conversation with voice actor Soma Saito (Kenshin Himura), Rie Takahashi (Kaoru Kamiya), and Aniplex producer Masami Niwa.
For the first time ever, Aniplex of America and A-1 Pictures will be teaming up for the ultimate joint industry panel in Petree Hall with the Aniplex of America x A-1 Pictures Industry Panel. Anime enthusiasts will be able to learn about Aniplex’s 2023 anime line-up from the staff of Aniplex of America, followed by an exclusive behind the scenes look into anime production from the staff of the prestigious A-1 Pictures studio.
At the JW Platinum Ballroom, Aniplex of America will be bringing the My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Event, where voice actor Koki Uchiyama (Akito Yamada) and Aniplex producer Masami Niwa will be appearing as guests.
For the final event hosted by Aniplex of America, the esteemed studio behind BOCCHI THE ROCK and My Dress-Up Darling, CloverWorks, will present the U.S. premiere of Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out in the JW Platinum Ballroom. Fans of the popular series will be the first in the U.S. to watch the latest film from the anime adaptation of Hajime Kamoshida’s “Seishun Buta Yaro” series published by Dengeki Bunko.

Aniplex of America will also have two booths for attendees to check out. Booth #1800 in the Exhibit Hall will be where fans can shop for exclusive merchandise and pick up free giveaways. Plus, fans can see beautiful displays featuring some of Aniplex’s most popular shows! Booth #E-14 in the Entertainment Hall will host another jaw-dropping presentation for the hit mobile game Fate/Grand Order, along with a Mini Stage that will see appearances from the fan-favorite kigurumi. There will also be demo stations for the upcoming Metroidvania style-game, Venture to the Vile.
