In a recent interview with Temple of Geek’s Chae’ Jones, Cricket Green shared a sneak peek at the wild shenanigans ahead. Highlighting the season’s bold comedy, Cricket admitted his family accidentally kidnaps a famous country music star, locking him in their basement to write a custom song as a gift for his dad. With additional episodes rolling out through 2027, Season 5 promises high stakes, plenty of heart, and signature country-in-the-city chaos.
Disney Channel’s hit animated series Big City Greens kicks off its highly anticipated fifth season on August 21 with a five-episode premiere event, landing on Disney+ the next day. Created by Chris and Shane Houghton, the new season brings back the beloved Green family, Cricket, Tilly, Bill, and Gramma Alice, alongside an incredible lineup of guest stars including Stephen King, Luke Combs, Megan Stalter, and Kevin Smith.

Big City Greens Season 5 kicks off with a Star-Studded Cast
The regular voice cast stars Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Marieve Herington as Tilly Green, Bob Joles as Bill Green, Artemis Pebdani as Gramma Alice, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Nancy Green, Zeno Robinson as Remy, and Anna Akana as Gloria. Season 5 guest stars include Stephen King, Luke Combs, Dylan Sprouse, Megan Stalter, Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Matt Gourley, Sona Movsesian, Aaron Bleyaert, Martha Kelly, Steve Schirripa, and Mike Colter.
