Camp is back in session with a whole new generation. With a new poster and premiere month, the countdown to return for Camp Rock 3 has begun. It will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in August. It’s up to a whole new group to keep what makes Camp Rock so special alive. It’s been almost sixteen years since Camp Rock 2: Final Jam aired and the love for Camp Rock has continued to grow.
Heading back to Camp Rock in Camp Rock 3
The story picks up when Connect 3 (Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas) lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested. This leads to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.
Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother. There’s also Desi (Hudson Stone) the cello prodigy, Rosie (Lumi Pollack), a drummer with his own beat, Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreo queen, Callie (Brooklynn Pitts) the intimidating influencer, Madison (Ava Jean), and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).
Camp Rock is directed by Veronica Rodriguez (The Slumber Party) and written by Eydie Faye (Slumber Party), produced by Disney Branded Television, and features choreography by Jamal Sims. Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) executive produces, along with Joe, Nick, Kevin Jones, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.
Demi Lovato returns to the Camp Rock franchise as an executive producer for the latest installment. However, there is still hope that she will make a cameo as Mitchie Torres. In light of her return, it feels like a good hope to have. Watch the Camp Rock 3 teaser here.
