Comic-Con Museum will open new exhibits at SDCC

This weekend marks the true return of San Diego Comic-Con, and with it new and exciting activities at the Comic-Con museum. The museum will be featuring workshops and specialty exhibits in honor of one of pop-culture’s biggest weekends.

The museum has a full schedule for this Comic-Con weekend.

Space is limited, and it is sure to be a packed house. What better way to make your inner child happy than learning how to draw one of the most enduring characters in comics?

If you manage to hit the museum on the the 20th, then you can also catch Spider-Man’s induction into the Comic-Con Museum’s hall of fame. There is a reception that will include food, drinks, and an advanced look at the exhibit.

If you are looking for something a little more intellectually challenging, then women scientists are leading an exhibit that includes hands-on experiments. Talking about anything from coding video games to caring for live animals, the IF/THEN Steam will take place from 10am-2pm on the 21st through the 24th.

Fans can step into the world of Pac-Man, literally. The museum is offering a VR experience in the world of Pac-Man. The exhibit is only available for a limited time, and will take place only on the 23rd and 24th throughout the museum’s operating hours. Catch it while you can.

Catch all these incredible events and more at the Comic-Con museum, open all year round. However, these special events are only available during Comic-Con weekend. If you couldn’t manage to get tickets to the convention, then there is still plenty for you to do.
