Big Finish Doctor Who News

  • Entries are now open for the Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip Opportunity. This competition helps new writers get their work produced by Big Finish. This year’s theme is the Time War, and any Doctor from 1 to 12 (including the War Doctor) can be featured. The deadline is the end of June.
Georgia Tennant reprises her role as the Doctor’s daughter in “Saving Time,” a new box set of audio adventures from Big Finish Productions.
  • “Jenny: The Doctor’s Daughter” is back with a new box set called “Saving Time.” It features four new adventures and will be released in October.

Character and Show News

  • Jonathan Groff’s character in the upcoming season of Doctor Who has been revealed to be named “Roge.”

  • Showrunner Russell T Davies addressed concerns about the shorter season length. He explained that while fans might miss more episodes, the new season is “jam-packed” and there wouldn’t be room for another episode. More Here. 

New Doctor Who Novel 

  • A new Doctor Who novel, “Death in the Stars” by Bonnie Langford, is coming in August. It’s a murder mystery featuring her character, Mel Bush. More Here.

Doctor Who News: Season Premiere Held in Los Angeles

The Doctor Who stars were in Los Angeles for a star-studded premiere on May 8th! Disney Branded Television threw a bash to celebrate the new season’s arrival on Disney+. Fans got a sneak peek at the upcoming episodes before anyone else.

Disney Branded Television rolls out the red carpet for Doctor Who at NeueHouse Hollywood. Ncuti Gatwa, the Fifteenth Doctor, and his companion Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday) led the TARDIS crew down the red carpet. They were joined by the brains behind the new era – returning showrunner Russell T Davies and his fellow executive producers Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner, Phil Collinson, and Joel Collins.

Celebrity sightings galore fueled the excitement! Alex Borstein (Family Guy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Kari Byron (MythBusters), Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb), Rick and Becky Riordan (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Dua Saleh (Sex Education), and many more stars joined the festivities. Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis kicked off the night with a warm welcome.

New Season of Doctor Who is new on Disney+

The Doctor and their companion Ruby Sunday are back, and this time they’ll face everything from the high society of Regency England to the battlefields of the future. Their trusty TARDIS, disguised as an unassuming police box, will hurtle them toward incredible journeys. Prepare to meet fascinating friends and face down dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman and the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet!
