Each year, Anime Expo brings together fans and industry from Japan, the US, and all over the world for the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America. Anime Expo features the best in Japanese entertainment, music, fashion, and video games. Taking place from July 2nd to July 5th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, there will be so much happening, including a panel hosted by ytv animation and YTE! YTE and ytv animation produce and broadcast a variety of anime, including INUYASHA, My Hero Academia, Detective Conan, and so much more. Since the 1960s, YTE and ytv animation have been known for bringing fan favorite series to life, and they strive to continue to do so.
When and Where is the Panel?
The panel, titled “Ascendance of a Bookworm” And Your Next Obsession, presented by YTV Animation & YTE, will take place on July 4th, 2026, in room 403AB in the convention center. From 5:30 PM to 6:50 PM, you can join this iconic animation studio, and of course, like-minded fans, as you meet special guests and discover several new and exciting series.
What Are ytv animation & YTE Bringing to Anime Expo?
As the name of the panel suggests, ytv animation and YTE will bring along several anime that are sure to make it on your list of all-time favorites. You can expect to experience in-depth discussions about Ascendance of a Bookworm season 4—which began airing this past April— The Vermillion Mask, World’s Strongest Witch, and Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things, which will all be part of their October lineup.
In addition, you’ll be treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes journeys into their upcoming series—backed by WIT studio, 100studio, LIDENFILMS, and ASLE/Bridge—sneak peeks of the new titles, and more fun surprises. There will also be giveaways and live drawings, where you might take home a one-of-a-kind goodie for your collection!
