Anime Los Angeles 2020 has just come to a conclusion and in a word, it was awesome! From the awesomely crafted cosplay to the pleasant environment provided on the convention floor, Anime Los Angeles had all the awesomeness that you could ask for at a con and more. So what made Anime Los Angeles 2020 so awesome? Let’s discuss!!!
Convention Hall
Let’s be realistic here, Anime Los Angeles does NOT take place in Los Angeles. It’s not even in Los Angeles County. Anime Los Angeles has a home at the Ontario Convention Center located in Ontario, California. This small yet mighty convention center houses one of the most awesome conventions in the Southern California area. Throughout the convention hall, there are places for water, plenty of places to sit down and rest and an entire meeting room designated for cosplay repairs. On the technical side of things, there are very informative signs everywhere that tell you what’s happening in the area that you’re in. You felt comfortable and safe and that’s a great thing.

Convention Floor
Anime Los Angeles 2020’s convention floor was intimate yet there was no shortage of things to see. From the talented artists in Artist Alley to the vendors selling various merchandise across an abundance of fandoms, to the fashion designs from independent designers, you could see almost everything on the convention floor at Anime Los Angeles 2020.
Cosplay
Where Anime Los Angeles 2020 shined through the most was with the cosplay. Oh man, was this an awesome way to kick off the new year of cons. To all of the talented cosplayers who spend hours upon hours developing their craft, you guys are absolutely amazing! There were several meetups from different fandoms where you could meet new friends, reconnect with old ones and at the same time you can take some dope photos.
There was an amazing cosplay masquerade on Saturday night. If you’ve not been at a cosplay masquerade you are truly missing a treat. They are absolutely amazing and you owe it to yourself to check these out.
Overall
Anime Los Angeles 2020 was great. There was something there for everyone and it’s an awesome place to meet new friends. If you live in the Inland Empire or you don’t mind the drive to Ontario in Southern California, spend a few days with a bunch of fellow geeks at one of the most fun conventions in Southern California at Anime Los Angeles.
